Presentation
The
Swiss Nature Photographer Society (ASPN), founded in 1969 under the
name “Association Suisse pour la Chasse Photographique”,
got today’s name in the year 1976 to detach distinctly the
nature photography from the hunting. The ASPN represents the
“International Federation of Wildlife Photography” (IFWP)
in Switzerland.
The
passionate ASPN members not only try to develop further their
knowledge in taking photos, films and video films, but also to reach
a better comprehension of man’s obligation towards the nature.
A
code of honour keeps all ASPN members to a responsible attitude and
ethic of work in the field.
By
the diffusion of photos and the presentation of films and slide
shows, the Society enables the audience to experience the members’
special moments of getting in touch with the nature.
The
names of ASPN members are very often found in books, magazines,
calendars, and even among the winners of international photo
competitions, both in Switzerland and abroad.
